The PodMic USB is an ultra-versatile dynamic microphone designed for podcasting, streaming, gaming, and speech applications. With a pop filter to minimize plosives, internal shock mount to reduce vibrations, and swing mount for easy positioning, it delivers rich, full-bodied sound. It offers both XLR and USB outputs, allowing connection to a mixer or computer for direct recording. The USB output includes APHEX® digital signal processing for studio-quality sound and zero-latency headphone output for seamless recording.

It is a broadcast-quality dynamic microphone optimized for podcasting and streaming, delivering a rich, balanced sound suitable for all voice applications, including broadcast and voice-overs. The PodMic USB features both XLR and USB-C connectivity for compatibility with traditional audio interfaces, mixers, and computers. Users can unlock powerful internal DSP and effects through the RØDE Central companion app, including the legendary APHEX Aural Exciter and Big Bottom processors.

When used as a USB mic, the integrated headphone port allows for zero-latency monitoring and has a dedicated volume slider for adjusting the monitoring level. The microphone is designed and manufactured in Sydney, Australia, in RØDE's high-technology facility.
